As well as being unsightly tree stumps can delay building works, restrict your landscaping options and cause a trip hazard.
Tree stumps are difficult to move, they often have large root systems holding them in place and have evolved to withstand everything mother nature can throw at them.
Unfortunately, you can’t just dig them out, specialist equipment and expertise is required
What does it involve?
We can use a process known as stump grinding. We grind the stump down below ground level, creating aerated mulch that will fill the hole left behind. The whole process takes less than a day and your garden or property will be left ready for the redevelopment you had planned. You will be able to turf, landscape, or build on the land in a way that wasn’t possible before!
Stump grinding is a quick and efficient way to remove tree stumps. A stump grinder will grind tree stumps to woodchip taking them down to a level slightly below ground level. This is normally more than adequate to allow you to landscape the ground again.
If you need whole stump and root system is to be completely removed, a different, more costly and time-intensive approach is needed. This can result in significant reinstatement work being required to fill the hole left by the stump.
